義大利沙灘排球選手卡拉姆布拉(Adrian Carambula)，在里約奧運秀了一手自己的絕招「天空發球」，發球的高度甚至超過了整個體育館的建築，轉播單位即便用全景也抓不到這球。

天空發球可說是卡拉姆布拉的絕招，關鍵時刻卡拉姆布拉都會使出「天空發球」，讓對手在接發球上沒那麼得心應手，目前他的組合2勝1敗的成績，也順利闖進16強。

卡拉姆布拉別名為Mr. Skyball，名字的靈感是來自007電影Skyfall而來，他自己也曾接受訪問傳授天空發球的技巧，他個人表示，這個發球就是要干擾對手的節奏。

卡拉姆布拉的天空發球，實際高度多高無法測量，但從他發球出去到球落到地面，球大約可停留在天空5秒之久。
